چکیده

Microencapsulation is an advanced technique used to improve the viability of probiotics and minimize sensitivity during processing, storage, in gastrointestinal environment. Two dietary treatments including a control encapsulated probiotic, Bacillus subtilis E20 (EP), were evaluate efficacy improving intestinal microbiome white shrimp, Penaeus vannamei, after 60-feeding trial. The 16S rDNA next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis indicated that shrimp fed EP diet generated higher amplicon reads than diet. No significant differences observed α-diversity index microbiota At phylum level, Proteobacteria was relatively abundant both treatment with increased expression Tenericutes, Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes, more control. PC revealed altered bacterial profile shrimp’s intestines into forming different clusters. Unique genera such as Luteolibacter, Simkaniaceae, Haemophilus, Pirellulaceae, Filomicrobium, Sphingomonas, Erysipelotrichaceae UCG-003 along well-known probiotic Lactobacillus found intestine PCA eigenvector plots abundance diet, but Vibrio These results suggest B. can be beneficial microbiota.

A sex-specific linkage map of the white shrimp Penaeus (Litopenaeus) vannamei based on AFLP markers

We report the construction of sex-specific linkage maps for the white shrimp Penaeus (Litopenaeus) vannamei (Penaeidae; Crustacea). Linkage information was generated using amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) markers in a mapping panel consisting of 42 individuals derived from a commercial cross. We used 103 primer combinations that produced 741 segregating bands. From them, 477 segreg...

cDNA cloning of the lysozyme of the white shrimp Penaeus vannamei.

Lysozyme, an antibacterial protein, has been implicated in innate immunity in invertebrates, but its activity in shrimp remained to be determined. We cloned the white shrimp lysozyme cDNA using a PCR strategy and detected its activity in haemocytes using a lytic-zone assay against Micrococcus luteus. The cloning was based on a reported EST (dbEST BE18831). The deduced amino acid sequence result...

Spatial expression of the molt-inhibiting horrnone- like gene in the white shrimp Penaeus vannamei

Four IGFBPs have been visualized in striped bass serum. Three appear to be comparable to IGFBP1, -2 and -3 in mammals in terms of their similar molecular weights and regulation by hormones and metabolic status. The fourth (striped bass (sb) IGFBP-4, MW 85-90 kDa) is seen only in adult fish, and has no known mammalian counterpart. Other higher molecular weight bands were also observed, which may...
